Phenomenal news!

9/1 ... PLEASE READ :)

“To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children...to leave the world a better place...to know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded.” --- Ralph Waldo Emerson
-- Much progress has been made today ... Stacey was up again this morning doing her regular double-round, but this time, one round was almost completely without the walker.
-- There was a CAT scan scheduled this morning, which was canceled because the doctors were able to see the results of the successful stint procedure on an ultrasound. They even have enough data to start removing "tubes", such as the extra, remaining drain.
-- There will be a CAT scan scheduled for Friday to check the abscesses and the liver. We KNOW that all will be perfect when checked!
-- The trach tube is scheduled to be pulled out today or tomorrow!! She is breathing on her own!! This is the best!!
-- Doctors continue to work with Stacey on her other things that give her pain, like her back. She has fairly brittle bones because of poor absorbency levels due to her liver disease. While these levels are being corrected with the new liver, the doctors will work with Stacey on building strength!
... saving the best for last... Stacey may be moved out of ICU by the end of the week! We are not sure when she would be home, but will probably have a better idea later this week...
This has been a phenomenal day! Thanks to everyone for their support!
