It's almost 6PM ET and Stacey is still having a great day today. She has been stable and is "eating" some liquid food, so she's getting real nutrition and calories through a feeding tube. The staff here is slowly starting to take her off some of the meds. Just recently they took her off a blood pressure medication that she's been on since yesterday, so they are closely watching her body maintain its owner pressure, which is doing fine.

Tomorrow will hopefully be a good day, the goal is to take her off of the ventilator and have her breath on her own. This will be the start of getting her independent from the machines. She is heavily sedated today, which is helping her pain level and giving her body time to heal without her being agitated.
