Julee's How To on Altered Dominoes

Ever since I got into the Altered Arts scene (oh yes, it IS a scene :) I've seen a bazillion iterations on altered dominoes. A few years ago I was getting ready for my first ever full blown craft fair and I needed more "STUFF". My work is so small that its tough to take up enough room in a booth all by myself and not have it seem empty-ish and well, I had dominoes and all of the STUFF to alter them on hand.

Shortly thereafter, I shared these techniques with about 50 women at a FREE Make 'N Take and they all LOVED them. Since that time I have hosted swaps, talked people through the process via phone and had this be the #1 all time most popular blog post.

I thought I would share it again as it seems like such a fun tutorial at a time when a lot of people have a lull in creativity. This one is pretty darn easy...

Here's how it goes:
You should be able to click on the HOW TO sheet, save it to your desk top and print it out to use at your leisure! If you have a question let me know... OH! One thing I should have told you was that the Dremel drill bit size that works for me is the 3/64 and they sell it in their little tiny set of drill bits. If you drill deep enough you will be able to easliy apply a 217 1/2 eye screw to use as your findings. If you make something from using this and you'd like to share send me an email julee at heartcollective dot com I will use your picture in my blog!

Have fun!

Now, go get YOUR craft ON!
