So, I don't know about you guys, but I am a curious girl...and I do mean that in two ways... here is the meaning of CURIOUS...

So, I pretty much think of myself as in #'s 1 and 3 with the occasional #2 thrown in...
Today I am perhaps more #2 than usual, but because of my #1-ness (are you following this?) I have this thing on my blog from something called "feedjit" that allows me to see where people come to visit from... its along the right hand side bar there down a little bit. It shows me as "Concord" even though I'm about 20 miles away from there... I don't know how it gets its information, but it must be something to do with my Cable provider or my wireless network... who knows, but any how... today I see that people are arriving "DIRECT" from United States (could you be more narrow? I mean really, that doesn't tell me much... the US is a BIG place), the other day it said Washington DC... that made me nervous... why? I dunno...something akin to "big brother" phobia, I guess... I see that some one from Downer's Grove Illinois comes by pretty often and so does someone from NJ, someone from Oakland - which is technically closer to me that "Concord" has been by today. I also see that people from other countries and other continents are cruising in... that's exciting to me... people come by through Google searches for "Shrine", "How to make a shrine", "Reliquaries" and the like...
I love seeing where people are coming from, its one of my favorite things to see on my blog... now I'm wondering, due to that #2-ness... who are you?
I'm sending out digital collage sheets to anyone that posts an answer... that's how CURIOUS I am!
I'm also curious why my Title is in a Hindi dialect of some kind... ah well... the curious gets curiouser...
Big Love!

I'm here from San Jose...a work of heart...but sometimes it says Menlo Park...very curious indeed...
ReplyDelete#1 and #3 pretty much describe me, too. I came over to let you know that I've FINALLY participated in that "tell 6 secrets" prompt with which you tagged me back on Oct. 23rd. Thanks for thinking of me! It was fun!
ReplyDeleteYou know, on those stats...if someone's using an "anonymizer" (see wikipedia) for safe surfing reasons, then you can't tell where they're actually coming in from. They'll be rerouted so that it shows up as coming from somewhere else. But that's probably only a handful of visitors (if any).
I am REALLY sorry, but I think I may be Downer's Grove. My internet comes from Chicago, and I stalk you A LOT and I am lazy and I use links I know are on your blog (which is saved in my favs) instead of googleing.
ReplyDeletehow funny that ali would be downer's grove, ill... wouldn't you say that's IRONIC??? LOL

Hi Julee, here from Benicia by way of My Daughter's Wish. Loved the class today! I didn't put 2 and 2 together to figure out that you also taught the altered dominoe class at aworkofheart that I sooooooo wanted to go to but couldn't. Maybe you could teach it (and the reliqueries) at MDW?
ReplyDeleteThanks again, Kathryn from Benicia
You got me! I came here through a link from Val Foster's Altered HeART journey and then was curious about your Hindi title.
ReplyDeleteSo to help you out with your curiosity, I'm from Australia!
Thanks for sharing your art. :)
