Fun and Funky Inchie Inspired Soldered Jewelry Bracelet

What do you think of a mixed media charm bracelet?  Fun and funky or old ladyish?  Does it depend on the style?

I've been thinking of giving away a collage sheet and I keep postponing it waiting for me to come up with a clever way to do so, but I've given up on that since I believe all of the clever is going into last minute orders for my dahlink retail buyers so here it goes....

I will email a FREE COLLAGE sheet to one of the commenters on my blog by choosing someone's name from a hat.  Let me know what you think about the bracelet, tell me about the weather in your neck of the world, tell me a funny story, whatever!  If you, my sweets, happen to be the lucky winner I will announce it here, but I'll also contact you via email (so be sure to provide a way for me to do just that!).  If you prefer that I snail mail the sheet to you printed on lovely matte photo paper, I'll definitely do that!

Happy Everything!

  1. You know I think it's cute! What makes it "old lady-ish"? It's not pictures of your grandkids and your Pomeranian!
It's for art lovers, and while some of them may in fact be old ladies, I don't think it's old-lady-ish.
Everybody loves you, your jewelry, your art, your shoes, and your gloss!!!!

  2. Fun and funky all the way!! I love it and I'd certainly wear it. The weather here is totally erratic - it was in the 30's last week, then Monday it went up to almost 70 and now it's back down to 30's. I'm used to toting my backpack and several layers of clothing with me just in case. Funny story...one time when I was a little girl and visiting Canada with my Grandmother, we passed this beautiful church and my grandmother said, "Let's go inside." So we did, and we were surprised at how unlike most churches this one was. We wondered what kind of church it was as we couldn't even find the altar. But there were these small columns here and there and we knelt down to pray at one. Everyone was looking at us real weird. We thought, what strange people in this strange church. My grandmother asked someone what church this was and they said, "It's not a church. It's a bank." Well, thank goodness we were very far from home and would never have to be seen around there again 'cause I was so embarrassed! My grandmother, though, she thought it was the funniest thing and laughed about it all the way out and down the street.

  3. I love your bracelet Jul. And no, it doesn't look old ladyish at all. I'd be proud to wear a bracelet like that. It's a one of a kind, and beautiful.

Speaking of weather, the whole country seems to be in the deep freeze. Here in Colorado it got down to minus 19 degrees a few nights ago. A totally new record. Now that is bitter, bitter cold. I thought maybe I moved to Alaska and didn't know it.

    Hugs,
    Val
