Start Where You Are

Phew! This has been a whirlwind month... I'm looking forward to the ease of the next few weeks. Two main things that culminated this week are getting my artist's statement and resume reviewed and polished by a professional copywriter so that I could email that to the Bedford Gallery in time for this weekend's Opening Reception AND shipping my latest installment of Feng Shui shrines off to Michael deMeng's business partner Christine Webb The Artists' Nook in CO.

As we're all well aware at this point I am NOT a photographer, but I'm making strides... here are some shots of the piece that went to Christine.

The only thing I want to say about this one is... can you tell who I have been influenced by?

Serenity now! This is me in July...

This piece was inspired by something my friend Rick said to me... what a great reminder... it really is NEVER to late... just "Start Where You Are"

And finally... a sneak preview of the whole piece...
9 mini shrines using recycled CD's and caulking with some magazine images and acrylic paint...
