OPERATION TEDDY BEAR CARE!!!!!!
Operation teddy bear care started with Maureen writing on her Blog on 29 Days Gifting about donating Teddy Bears to the local AIDS Clinic for AIDS Orphans. The Idea grew from there with BJ putting out a challenge to collect 1000 Teddy Bears.
There is a massive problem in South Africa about the growing number of AIDS Orphans. These children in the rural areas live in abject poverty without any personal comforts. For them it is just a matter of surviving from one day to the next.
The aim of this project is to collect or buy small personal gifts for the AIDS orphans, many of whom do not have a single item that they can call there own. This is to give them some small gift for their personal comfort.
Any and all donations are welcome. You can contact Maureen direct to arrange shipping or we have a number of comfort packs that can be bought with your donation. These packs will be distributed personally by Maureen at various local clinics to the children.
