Watch Crystal Pendants Workshop

I love when art evolves and moves into new places. I also love that saying, "necessity is the MOTHER of invention". If you're familiar with the little squares and microscope slides that I have been creating with you may be aware that it can be hard to find the little stinkers consistantly and so I NEEDED to find another way to get my soldering fix. Much to my JOY vintage watch crystals is IT for me... so much dimension, different sizes and a good stock will keep us creating for a good long time!

This new workshop is the "movement" from the microscope slide soldered jewelry class to the new playful watch crystal jewelry class. I'm still sharing all of the original techniques, but now I'm sharing them in different shapes - CIRCLES! - as well as the standard squares and rectangles that I've been sharing with you all along.

I'm excited to see where these go... where you'll take them and how in love with soldering you will fall! For me these are all about capturing a sentiment both visually and through text. I find it rewarding to gather an image that means something to me and pair it with some little saying or phrase that I'm trying to keep close. So, that's what I call this class... CAPTURE THAT SENTIMENT, but its up to you where you take your pendants!

Bring your favorite bits of words and tiny images and a nice pair of scissors (or nothing at all) and join me for a day of jewelery making. I always provide the tools and toys for plenty of fun! I'll teach you the art of soldering and show you how to Capture that Sentiment in a way that causes your heart to swell with pride!
