On Monday one of my friends told me that the Bedford Gallery in Walnut Creek, CA was having a call for art from local artists so I ran down to the Stamper's Warehouse and picked up one of my favorite shrines from their upcoming workshops display, printed out the application and got prepared to head to the gallery. Tuesday morning I arrived all bright eyed and bushy tailed with my two coolest Feng Shrines and dropped them off with the staff. A bit nervous, I have to admit.
This evening I just got word that the Cheif Curator of the Art at the Oakland Museum of CA juried 650 pieces and chose both of my pieces for the show! How cool is THAT? SUPER COOL if you're askin' me!
